North Carolina has 15 electoral votes. The National Popular Vote bill passed in the North Carolina State Senate in 2007. It must now pass the State House and be signed into law by Governor Pat McCory(R) or his successor in 2017.  A survey conducted Dec. 2008 showed overall support for the National Popular Vote for President Bill to be 75% amongst North Carolina voters.
